alone time.

It took me a month, but I finally went to see Eat Pray Love yesterday afternoon. I love going to movies alone, especially during the day - it feels like a luxurious little treat to myself. I thought the movie was a lovely tribute to the novel and I left feeling inspired, refreshed and energized (partly because I cried multiple times, and at all the wrong moments). I rolled my windows down, blasted this song, and felt so happy driving over the bridge, approaching the gorgeous peninsula surrounded by sailboats and orange skies.

Although it was initially a hard adjustment, I've come to cherish my alone time. Sometimes pushing yourself a little bit out of your comfort zone is just the thing you need to feel comfortable again.

P.S. That being said, Tyler I miss you, and I also cherish these rare skype dates.
