Lavender lemonade is such a little thing that manages to drastically improve the quality of my life. After making lavender cupcakes, I had some leftover lavender that I was itching to use. Lavender lemonade is such an elegant drink to have on hand, and definitely worth making, considering the simple process (plus it left my kitchen smelling fresh and floraly).
Directions: Drop a few lavender sprigs in 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover for about 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cold water, 1/2 cup lemon juice, the zest of one lemon and a tablespoon of agave nectar (or more, but I love things super tart).
I vote lavender lemonade as the prettiest, most refreshing drink in the world. Water just isn't cutting it for me anymore.
