During our trip to California my dad and I discovered the Ocean Park neighborhood, which quickly became our favorite spot in Santa Monica. The shops and restaurants are right up my alley (hello Free People and Urth Cafe) and the beach (alongside an infinte two-lane path) are a block away. I want to live there.

Ever since I left, I haven't been able to stop thinking about this quaint neighborhood where I felt so instantly at ease. I'm starting to imagine Saturday mornings at the farmers' market followed by an all-day bike ride along the beach.

I've always considered myself an east coast girl, but there is something special about the west coast. It's kind of calling my name.

P.S. I got to meet Jasmine and she posted a little recap of our afternoon spent in Santa Monica. If you're wondering, she and Levi are truly as adorably perfect together as they seem.
