For this shoot we wanted to showcase how much fun an elopement can be -- choosing to opt out of a traditional wedding isn't for everyone, but ultimately allows couples to have a spontaneous and playful (though of course, still incredibly meaningful) wedding day. I imagine these two starting at the courthouse for a short ceremony, taking photos through the golden hour, and watching the sunset over the water before enjoying a drawn-out dinner with family and close friends late into the night.
Kate McDonald's minimal-but-stunning Tyler gown (Lula Kate) is the perfect dress for an understated bride (especially when paired with a Cathedral-length veil) and Lily of Flowershop always nails it with her gorgeous blooms and dried elements (we all fell in love with these particular roses). Huge thanks to our lovely models Becca Barnet and Landon Phillips (wearing J.Crew).
