Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a town famous for their markets. Every Thursday and Sunday, all the streets are filled with vendors selling local produce, cheese, wine, chocolate, nougats, olive oils, tapenades, antiques (500 dealers) and other hand-made goods.
We had a little translation mix-up with the cheese man, and accidentally spent more than 40 dollars on two cheeses. We were feeling intense remorse for a second, but then ended up buying more from the next cheese vendor. What can I say? We love our cheese (and bread). We devoured it for breakfast lunch and dinner, and it was gone in three days (although the man said it should last three months). I am living my dream life.
